Earlier this year Samsung bundled the Gear VR headset with Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge pre-orders. It was a major win for mobile VR, getting a ton of headsets into the hands of first-time VR users. But now Samsung just unboxed a new bundle that i’m sure will sell out – a Batman-inspired Galaxy S7 and Gear VR.
To commemorate the third anniversary of Injustice: Gods Among Us, Samsung has revealed their Galaxy S7 edge Injustice Edition inspired by one of the mobile game’s central characters – Batman.
In collaboration with Warner Bros Interactive and DC Entertainment, the limited edition Galaxy S7 edge will be available in early June exclusively in select territories, including China, Singapore, Korea, Latin America, Russia and others to be announced soon.
The Galaxy S7 edge Injustice Edition package is equipped with a deep black Galaxy S7 edge, accentuated by gold detailing and the iconic seal on the back.. The phone is said to have “enhanced hardware and software capability, and bigger battery capacity,” making your VR or mobile gaming experiences that much better.
Although some might not be as excited to learn about the matte black Gear VR as we are, especially when you have a Bat phone, the VR headset looks pretty badass.
