This first-person VR psychological thriller stars Rosario Dawson and Alfred Molina.
Oculus is teasing us with a new exclusive for the Rift and Touch controllers, slated to release in 2017.
Wilson’s Heart is a first-person psychological thriller with some unique visuals and narrative style.
The new title uses the Oculus Touch controllers, taking full advantage of your natural hand gestures to fully examine and interact with your surroundings in the black and white world of Wilson’s Heart.
Wilson’s Heart is being developed by Twisted Pixel in partnership with Oculus’ in-house content production shop, Oculus Studios. The VR adventure is set in a 1940’s hospital that has undergone a haunting transformation, where you play the role of Robert Wilson, a patient who awakens to the shocking discovery that his heart has been replaced with a mysterious device.
The hospital of Wilson’s Heart is intended to be a haunting and intense surrounding, where you and your fellow patients must traverse increasingly maddening corridors, overcome frightening environmental hazards and work together to defeat the sinister inhabitants in your pursuit to reveal who stole your heart.
Wilson’s Heart leverages an eccentric cast of characters, where hospital patient Robert Wilson is voice acted by RoboCop’s (1987) Peter Weller, along with Rosario Dawson of Sin City and Alfred Molina of Spider-Man 2, who also join the cast.
Wilson’s Heart is Twisted Pixel’s first foray into VR and we can wait to check out this interactive adventure of mystery.
