Squanchtendo’s ‘Accounting’ Now Available For Free on HTC Vive

It’s finally time for all you accountants out there to embrace the latest in technological advancement.

The whacky VR adventure game, Accounting, from game developer Squanchtendo is finally here.

For the amazing price of “complimentary,” this surreal adventure is the latest project from Justin Roiland, co-creator, writer and voice actor on Adult Swim’s Rick & Morty.

Developed in collaboration with former Epic Games executive producer Tanya Watson, the duo teamed up to form Squanchtendo, a studio focused on creating VR games that might just make you laugh out loud. They’re working alongside Stanley Parable creator William Pugh, as well as the team at his new studio Crows Crows Crows.

There’s no reason for us to spoil any surprises for you, so you might as well get downloading. But what you can expect is a series of loud, surreal surprises, that will take you on a journey only wanting more from the developers. The work you’ll be doing is anything but crunching numbers as an accountant, where you’ll instead find yourself instead naturally progressing through compelling and engaging vignettes of engagement.

It’s a brief VR experience, but it’s free, so who’s complaining. With absolutely fun game mechanics and buttoned up design, we were laughing out loud with our Vive controllers rubbing our belly.

And if you’re not familiar with the work of Roiland and Pugh, prepare yourself for weird.
