Halloween is a time for VR
Depending on your tolerance for jump scares, haunting isolation, and Zombies, Halloween is either the best of times or the worst of times for virtual reality.
We love the creativity Halloween brings out in VR developers and filmmakers, so this Thursday we’re teaming up with VICE and HTC Vive for the VRScout Haunted Mansion in Los Angeles to showcase some of our favorites.
HTC Vive Horror Experiences
Over the next few days, we’ll be announcing our horror selections for the show, starting with our favorite room-scale Halloween experiences for the HTC Vive. Don’t worry, If you can’t make it to LA, you can check them out from the comfort of your own HMD.
The Brookhaven Experiment
A fan-favorite survival shooter for the HTC Vive. Use the weapons and tools provided to survive ever more terrifying waves of horrific monsters in an attempt to figure out what caused the beginning of the end of the world, and, if you’re strong enough, stop it from happening.
