Challenge friends in this new VR trivia game.
Oculus announced on Wednesday that they would be rolling out a slew of updates to make the Oculus experience on Gear VR way more social.
As the updates slowly rollout throughout the day, we were able to get a first look at the Oculus app Social Trivia, which lets you and up to four friends compete in a battle of knowledge.
The Social Trivia app can be found in the Concepts section of the Oculus Store and is necessary to download in order to enter the actual Social Trivia rooms in the Oculus Social chatroom app.
Each Social Trivia game consists of 10 multiple choice questions that users can answer simultaneously with everyone else in the room. A score is tabulated throughout the game and a winner is crowned in the end. It is unclear if the points can be accumulated over time.
