Explore a 3D recreation of the new Verdansk Stadium in this simple webAR demo.
Season 5 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare & Warzone launches tomorrow on Xbox One, PS4, and PC, bringing with it new maps, additional game modes, and customizable music tracks for vehicles. This massive update will also see the unveiling of the brand new Verdansk Stadium.
Ahead of tomorrow’s release, publisher Activision is offering players a chance to explore the newly-renovated sports venue and its multiple concourses via an official webAR demo.
By visiting warzonestadiumtour.com, users can access an augmented reality model of the “new-and-improved” Verdansk Stadium. After scanning the floor and adjusting the size of the 3D stadium, they can then move around the real-world to inspect the location from a variety of angles.
Surrounding the venue are several images showcasing the different areas composing Verdansk Stadium, including the Food Court, Executive Suite 2, Executive Hallway, East Parking Lot, North Entrance, Club Bar, West Field, and West Entrance. Lean in closer to the stadium to catch a peek at the field itself, which appears to have been repurposed as some sort of triage center or forward operating base.
It looks as though the webAR demo was shared with popular gaming influencers, YouTubers, earlier today, no doubt to help drum up additional hype ahead of tomorrow’s launch.
