Milk VR becomes latest expansion of company’s Milk music and video streaming service

Virtual reality cinematic content is shining bright. Samsung just announced in one of it’s first significant content deals that they have enlisted “The Walking Dead” executive producer David Alpert to be part of its creative team to develop entertainment for the device.

Announced at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, the Korean consumer electronics will make the new VR device an addition to the Milk music and video streaming service called “Milk VR”. This will soon be part of all the Samsung products, especially smart televisions and computers.

Though executive producer David Alpert declined to tell whether this new virtual reality headset will include “The Walking Dead” in it or not, Milk VR will provide users with 30 titles from a number of leading companies.

The list of these titles includes Red Bull Media House, Refinery29, Mountain Dew, Matador, Artists Den, Boiler Room, Acura, and the NBA. Skybound Entertainment, which is run by executive producer David Alpert and the creator of “The Walking Dead”, Robert Kirkman will also be offered on Milk VR.

Content marketers are continuing to warm-up to virtual reality to promote everything their movie releases and we expect to see many more in the near future. These are very exciting times for VR cinema and we are all looking forward to more publicly announced partnerships from Facebook’s Oculus in the near future.
