Experiment your way through a variety of hydrogen VR lessons in this unique educational experience.

VR has proven to be an incredible tool when it comes to education. The technology allows students the ability to immerse themselves in a variety of different subjects like never before. So far we’ve seen everything from historical VR experiences to medical apps designed to train up-and-coming healthcare professionals.

Then there’s Futuclass Education, a VR app for Meta Quest 2 and Meta Quest Pro headsets that promises to teach students the science of chemistry. Available through App Lab, this learning-based experience features a variety of lessons developed in collaboration with educational professionals, according to the official description. The app is free to download and comes with four free demo lessons with accompanying lesson plans downloadable at futuclass.com.

Those interested will be able to access additional educational content by purchasing a paid subscription. In addition to gaining access to ten 20-30 minute lessons, paid subscribers also unlock an exclusive Teachers Portal featuring additional resources designed to assist teachers in conducting virtual lessons simultaneously across multiple headsets.

“Learn Chemistry through gamified experiences in Virtual Reality!,” states the official description. “Hold molecules in your hand in Reaction Balancing, shoot particles in Atom Structure, escape the room in Oxygen and experiment your way through Hydrogen VR lessons. Co-created with educational experts, the learning value of each VR lesson has been scientifically proven with real students in classroom and at home.”
