Tickets Now on Sale for VRLA Expo

“Rick & Morty” Co-Creator Justin Roiland will be the Keynote Speaker.

Get ready to clear your calendar. Tickets for the world’s largest VR and AR convention, VRLA Expo, are now on sale. The two-day event taking place April 14-15, 2017 at the Los Angeles Convention Center has also announced that Justin Roiland, creator of “Rick & Morty” on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim will deliver Saturday’s Keynote Address.

This is the third year of VRLA and if you haven’t attended one in the past, you can expect some of best VR and AR demos, as well as educational sessions, panels, and presentations. So whether you’re looking to check out the latest in hardware, software or experimental projects from creators, there should be something for everyone.

Registration is currently open, with the business-focused 2-Day Pro Pass at $299 and a 1-Day Pass for Saturday priced at $40. You can use promo code VRLAvrscout to get 15% off your ticket price.

VRLA-hero-1“It’s so exciting to serve both the industry and developers who make this whole thing go, as well as the VR-curious enthusiasts who want to see what it’s all about,” said event co-founder John Root. “That we can put Justin Roiland on the same stage as some of the industry’s greatest technical thinkers is a treat, and a testament to the support the community has shown us.

If the massive growth we’ve been seeing over the years attending VRLA is any indicator, you can definitely expect to see the largest turnout yet again this April.

VRLA is currently accepting applications for its Indie Zone, which offers complimentary exhibition space to innovative small teams who have raised less than $500,000 in venture capital funding, or generated less than that amount in revenue.
