Sherlock Holmes VR Game Features Live Action Sets

This “evening-sized” mystery is “far from elementary.”

Sherlock Holmes: The Case of the Hung Parliament is a new VR experience for Meta Quest headsets that has you playing the role of an impromptu detective tasked with solving a gruesome mystery after the world’s most famous detective, Sherlock Holmes, goes missing.

In this point-and-click mystery, you’ll explore a variety of live-action sets as your search for clues pointing toward the identity of the killer behind the horrific murders of three cabinet members before they strike again. Along the way, you’ll analyze different crime scenes, collect evidence, interrogate a cast of suspects, and enter your “Mind Palace” to assemble the pieces of this deadly puzzle.

Developer vrisch multimediaproduction GmbH describes Sherlock Holmes: The Case of the Hung Parliament as an “evening-sized” experience that can be enjoyed again and again, either on your own or alongside three other friends via online multiplayer.

“Don your deerstalker and step into the shoes of the world’s most famous sleuth in this gripping live-action detective adventure,” said the developer team on the official website, adding, “Will you solve the baffling case in time? Can you call on your friends for help? And where is Sherlock anyway? The answers are far from elementary.”

Sherlock Holmes: The Case of the Hung Parliament is available now for $11.99 on Quest 2 and Quest Pro headsets via the App Lab. It should be noted that the game is a work in progress; any feedback could potentially be used to improve the game moving forward.
