January 10, 2017 (6pm PT / 8pm CT / 9pm ET)

Tune in at

Or on Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter/Periscope.

This will be the first Presidential speech of its kind streamed live in 360°. We’re honored to have been chosen by The White House to bring such a historic event to life, and to preserve this moment for future generations.

barack-obama-gear-vr-presidentTo make it a reality, we’re working with our friends at Radiant, and Nokia OZO to set up 3D 360° cameras throughout McCormick Place in Chicago, where the speech will take place. The Nokia OZOs will be streaming live to VRScout’s Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter/Periscope.

ozo_live_obama_vrDuring the livestream, you’ll be able to watch from different vantage points as if you’re right here with us. You’ll be able to turn your phone, or drag your finger/mouse to move around within the video and explore every angle of this historic event. If you have a VR headset you will be able to pop it on and feel as though you’re sitting there.
