This Week’s New Gear VR Content (5/6/16)

Guardian VR (FREE)
The Guardian has published their first VR video experience with “6×9”, putting you in the shoes of an inmate in solitary confinement. Right now, more than 80,000 people are in solitary confinement in the US. They spend 22-24 hours a day in their cells, with little to no human contact for days or even decades. 6×9 invites you into this world, giving you a glimpse of the psychological damage of extreme isolation.

Moon Player (FREE)
Moon Player is a cleaner way for you to experience high-quality videos in VR. Browse and play videos from your very own video library in just about any format, including standard/3D/360 videos.

Swing Star ($2.99)
If you ever wanted to fly, Swing Star VR might be what you have been looking for. Swing Star is an acrobatic swinging adventure game (with 16 levels) that let’s you swing through magical deserts, bright forests, steep canyons, and many more bizarre and beautiful worlds. Developed by Computer Lunch.
