Bonelab Trailer Teases A Physics-Driven VR Adventure

Return to MythOS city.

Stress Level Zero yesterday dropped a new trailer for its highly-anticipated VR game Bonelab, teasing a number of exciting features we can’t wait to try in the process. A direct follow-up to 2019’s Boneworks, the game will launch next week on Meta Quest 2 and PC VR headsets via Steam.

Based on the trailer it appears as though we can expect plenty of physics-driven action. Similar to Boneworks, the game will have you using realistic weapons and tools to navigate a plethora of mind-bending environments located in MythOS city.

This includes arenas, experimental modes, obstacle courses, sandboxes, and tactical trials. There’s even support for user-generated levels. Each location features its own unique characters, items, and clues you’ll need to collect in order to progress further through the story.

“Sentenced to death, you embody an outcast escaping fate,” says the game’s official description. “Discovering a pathway to a hidden underground research facility. A series of challenging experiments and discoveries await. A road to the truth calls from the void.”

The trailer also showcases a unique avatar-swapping system that allows you to switch between custom avatars anytime you’d like. This isn’t just a cosmetic feature; the size and characteristics of your avatars have a direct impact on your in-game performance.

Bonelab will launch on Meta Quest 2 and PC VR headsets on September 29th. For more information visit here.
