Batman: Arkham VR Gameplay Revealed; Pre-Orders Begin

First gameplay reveals a dark, beautiful world.

Batman: Arkham VR made waves at this year’s E3 convention, giving users a chance to step into the shoes (boots?) of the bat himself and experience the wonders of the glorious batcave. This PlayStation VR exclusive has remained fairly elusive since its premiere though. Unless you were lucky enough to attend E3 or the latest San Diego Comic Con and try it on the actual showfloor, you haven’t really seen a gosh darn thing game-wise. That is until today!

Warner Bros. Entertainment has finally given the public its first look at the VR title in the form of a fan reaction video recorded at this year’s San Diego Comic Con. 500 lucky attendees were allowed to #WearTheCowl and give their impressions on the experience. The video features several moments described by E3-goers who were able to try it out themselves including descending down an elevator from Wayne Manor into the batcave, throwing the infamous batarang at a practice target and of course the spine-tingling experience of physically picking up and donning Batman’s mask to name a few.

Batman: Arkham VR will be available for purchase exclusively on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR October 2016, sometime around the launch of the PlayStation VR which is currently slated for October 13th. Pre-orders have already begun on the PlayStation Store though so if you’re really excited to walk around like Batman screaming, “WHERE’S HARVEY DENT?!” I suggest you get your order in now. At $19.99 it’s at least a cool little experience to introduce friends or family to the magic of virtual reality. (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧
