Weekend Downloads: New Content for Samsung Gear VR


Weekend Downloads is part of our weekly update to bring you the latest additions to the Samsung Gear VR. This week, the Oculus Store has added two new apps, two games, and a concept puzzle expereince for your weekend downloading pleasure.

So for all you Gear VR owners out there, a little something for everyone to check out from this week.

NCAA March Madness Live VR (FREE)
Get NCAA March Madness Live for Oculus and Gear VR! Do you like to draw? How about animate? Now you can do both while surrounded by a 360 degree view of your art. Developed by Gnometech, Circumpaint, allows you to paint with pixels on a hemispherical canvas with you at the center.


Annie Amber ($7.99)
From the creator of the award-winning VR game MIND: Path to Thalamus, the VR, comes Annie Amber. Solve thrilling puzzles through the entire solar system as you experience life (from cradle to grave) as Annie Amber.


Escape from Bunker 14 ($2.99)
You begin with no memory of who you are, or where you are. You seem to be in some sort of military bunker… but why? As you descend through the levels of the bunker, you begin to work out what happened in this place and why you’re here. In the end it becomes a race against time…


Prime Bird (Concepts)
Created by Kazuya Noshiro, Prime Bird is a flying puzzle edutainment VR experience that lets you fly as a bird. As you fly, number plates will appear. It’s up to you to identify and fly through the prime number on each plate. New genres don’t get any newer than this!
